Pictures of the Apartment

We finally have internet! Now we can post up photos that we've taken since we arrived. First, pictures of the apartment, and then I'll post some of the city in a seperate post.

Here's the view from our bedroom window:

And the view from the living room window:

It's a pretty nice little place. We were both surprised at how spacious it was, we have plenty of room and are relatively close to everything we need. Next post: pictures of the city!

  3. So nice to see the bedroom window "she came in through" seeing that in this particular case there is no bathroom window. :-) Nice looking crib. I was especially pleased to see the shot of the toilet. You know, the place where most major decisions are made, and where real inspiration more-often-than-not strikes, right? :-) It was also what Elvis was sitting on when he bought the farm. Poor Elvis.

Michael Waas e-mailed me from Germany to let me know he's visited your blog. He and his girlfriend Petra were especially tickled to see the praire dogs photos. Apparently there are no praire dogs to feed in northwestern Germany. :-)

I just know you'll get that job this Tuesday, Son. St. Joseph is in your corner and he along with Mary has never failed to come through. As always in comes down to Faith. I praying just as much for my beloved daughter-in-law Bob.

No need to see my oncologist until Aug. 28th. No chemo either. Got that bit of great news today at my appointment. I'm feeling pretty darned good today and I have been for almost three weeks.

Well, off I go to re-discover the joys of doing laundry. It is the apex and total fulfillment of every dream I have ever had for my life. And that is just so sad. :-)

    Love,

    dad
